Also, students must be seated to eat – there is to be no moving through the hallway eating / drinking. Actively eating and drinking, means not just having food in front of you or a beverage in your hand. Proper wearing of a mask means covering your nose, not having it sit just at or below your nose. Masks – to protect staff and students the best we can, students must wear a 3 layered mask properly at all times during the school day unless actively eating or drinking, or participating in gym class or using a wind instrument in band. If you have used your tests up, please come get a box tomorrow in the office. You all should have enough tests to get you through to testing for at least your first test for next week ( Testing will happen three times per week after this short week at home – Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday or Monday, Wednesday and Friday) Additional test kits can be picked up on Monday by the students at school. If you have already contacted the school regarding attendance for tomorrow, there is no need to call again.
If your child is going to be absent, please contact the school at 90 and leave a message for us. If you test positive on the rapid antigen test, please go to the clinic for confirmation. As always, we would expect that students will monitor for symptoms by using the attached screening tool Give your test 15 minutes to process effectively. Testing and Masks – A reminder that a rapid test should be taken either tonight or tomorrow morning prior to coming to school. We will get through this together, and this too shall pass.

This is an interesting time in our history, and we have had to take extra precautions to ensure that in person learning continues here on PEI. A reminder that it is Day 1 in our schedule. Tomorrow is our first day of second semester at Three Oaks and I wanted to send out a message to explain what the day will look like. Welcome Back Everyone!
