Return to Gertrude to inform her of the good news and to complete the quest. A cutscene will now play showing Fluffs and her kittens, once it has ended Fluffs and her kittens will run home. Once you have found the kittens, climb back up the ladder and use them on Fluffs.
The crate that the kittens may be located in is different for each player. Cata, Kofi, and I were discussing all the quest chains that haven't been touched for years and realized that MEP2 is now almost nine years old yet there's been no resolution. But yeah, Runescape might have the worst quests for any MMO especially in regards to continuity. Head back down the ladder and search the nearby jiggling crates until you find three kittens. Runescape does have the best quests for a MMORPG. You will now hear kittens somewhere nearby you. She will eat it, however she is still afraid to leave the lumber yard. Use your Doogle leaf on the Raw sardine to create a Doogle sardine and use it on Fluffs. They will give you 100 Death runes for your cat. Once your kitten has grown into a cat, P2P users can take it to any Civilian in West Ardougne (assuming that you have done Plague City and Biohazard Quests to get in). Your character will suggest that the cat may be hungry. To make kittens grow into cats you can use balls of wool with them, have them chase and kill rats, pet them, and feed them.
After Fluffs has drank the milk, attempt to pick her up again and she will scratch you. Now attempt to pick up the cat. She will scratch you and you will need to use your Bucket of Milk on her. Choose the "Squeeze under Fence" option to enter the lumber yard, once inside head to the middle area and climb up the ladder to find Fluffs. Once at the lumber yard, head slightly west until you find an area where part of the fence is broken. Next, head east and follow the path to the Varrock east gates and then head north towards the lumber yard. Accept the deal and you will now learn the location of where Fluffs is, which is at the lumber yard north-east of Varrock. Choose the option that says "what will make you tell me" and the boys will ask you to pay 100 coins to them. Attempt to ask them where the hideout is but you will learn that they will refuse to tell you. The boys will inform you that Fluffs is at their secret hideout. Once you have obtained a Doogle leaf, make your way to the Varrock square and speak to either Shilop or Wilough. After agreeing to help, Gertrude will suggest speaking to her sons at the Varrock square to see if they know any information about where Fluffs has gone to.Įxit the house but before heading to the Varrock square, go behind Gertrude's house and pick a Doogle leaf either from the bush or off the ground. While speaking to Gertrude, she will inform you that her pet cat named Fluffs has gone missing and asks if you are willing to help look for the cat.
The quickest way to reach Gertrude is by using the Varrock teleport spell (requires level 25 magic) and running west. Speak to Gertrude, inside her house to begin the quest.
